Best Weblog
The Weblog champion of the world does everything right. A unique and interesting approach to the topic, super design and excellent writing put are what it takes to win in the Best Weblog category.
Best Podcast
Don't be fooled by the name all you videocasters. This category is the place for podcasts, videocasts and your multimedia blog inventions. The winner here will be showing the world what's around the corner when it comes to getting the word out on the Internet.
Please note, this category is closed to pod and videocasts produced by corporate and media businesses or organizations.
Best Corporate Blog
Weblogs have long been a part of corporate communication and it's time to admit that some of them are extremely well made. This category will honor the first-rate use blogs, podcasts and videocasts coming out of the business and media world.
Reporters Without Borders Award
Presented in cooperation with Reporters Without Borders, this award will go to a Weblog that takes a strong stance for freedom of information all over the world.
Blogwurst Award
Off the wall, a little crazy, completely different and a blast to read. The blog you didn't know you would like but now can't go without will be the winner of the Blogwurst Award.
Best Weblog / Language
We're looking to reward a blog in each of the BOBs' 10 languages that influences public discussion by keeping close tabs on current affairs with insightful analysis and thoughtful comments.
